Trucking where rails don't reach
Road freight is the flexible layer of the WideSafe network: TIR trucking carries cargo where rail capacity or terminal connections fall short, and domestic drayage connects every factory in China to our rail hub at Xi'an International Port.
Cross-border TIR trucking routes
| Border crossing | Destinations served |
|---|---|
| Khorgos | Russia; Uzbekistan; Turkmenistan |
| Alashankou | Russia |
| Manzhouli | Russia (northbound) |
| Irkeshtam | Kyrgyzstan; Uzbekistan (via Kyrgyz territory) |
| Karasu | Tajikistan |
Under the TIR regime cargo moves under a single customs declaration with a sealed load — no re-examination or transshipment at each border — which is why trucking is the standard solution for Central Asian destinations beyond the rail terminals and for time-sensitive Russian deliveries. Transit times are quoted per route and border situation at booking.
Domestic trucking & container drayage
- Nationwide factory pickup — our in-house fleet collects LCL and FCL cargo from any Chinese city and drays directly into Xi'an hub without transit damage.
- Container drayage — port and station moves for 20ft / 40ft / 40HQ, repositioning between terminals and warehouses.
- Last-mile delivery — from destination rail terminals to consignee warehouses in Russia, Central Asia, the Caucasus and the EU.
